    Interaction with Dr Kamal Kishore Singh ADGP

    The students of grade 10, 11 & 12 had an interaction with Dr Kamal Kishore Singh ADGP on 29.9.2022 regarding how to crack Civil Service and other examinations.

    Fascinating play on "Curious Litigation of Humpty Dumpty"

    On Tuesday, 23.8.2022 Bishop Scott Girls' School organised a fascinating play on "Curious Litigation of Humpty Dumpty".
    The students of grade 6 and 8 participated in the play. The students were selected after auditions. The show was all about the age old rhyme Humpty Dumpty.
    Grade 6 enacted how Mr Humpty Dumpty enjoys his life with his friends in Carol Land, how he fell down from the wall, how Kings horses and Kings men could not put Humpty together again.
    Grade 8 students presented an elongated version of Humpty, wherein Mr Humpty initiates legal proceedings against the King of Carol Land seeking compensation for the trauma and injuries he received.
    The performance of the students was excellent and it was appreciated by everyone in attendance. The show was witnessed by the School Management, parents, teachers and students.

    Class Day for grade 1

    Class Day for grade 1 was held on 20.8.2022. It was held in two sessions.

    Interhouse Competition between Choirs

    Bishop Scott Girls' School arranged for an Interhouse Competition between Choirs on 17.8.2022 for grade 6 to 8. All students of grade 6 to 8 participated with full zeal.
    All four houses were lined up in the assembly area. They competed with each other in a healthy manner.
    The songs were chosen from famous songs of Boney - M .
    There were two songs sang by each House.
    Overall Red House won The First Position and Blue House won the Second Position.

    Independence Day Celebration

    Independence Day was celebrated on 15.08.2022 wherein the school management, well wishers , teachers and students were present and enjoyed the day.

    Archie Singh of grade 7 won silver medal in 27th District Taekwondo Championships held on 31.7.2022.

    Educational Trip to Rajgir,30.7.2022

    Bishop Scott Girls' School organised a Trip to Rajgir on Wednesday 30th July , 2022.
    Around 80 students of classes 11 and 12 were accompanied by their teachers.
    It was a day of abundant fun and enjoyment for our students.
    The students were seen thoroughly enjoying the Safari, Glass Bridge, and other activities.
    For once academics and pressure of studies were forgotten as each and every moment was spent in sheer pleasure.
    The children enjoyed the delicacies from the cafeteria and enjoyed the trip.
    The students adhered to the discipline code and instructions given to them.
    The school feels that such fun filled days were needed to energize the students so that they can deal with the pressure of studies.
    The students thanked the Management. Principal and the teachers and Admin staff for this fun filled day.

    Award Ceremony on Tuesday, 26.7.2022

    Bishop Scott Girls’ School organised Award Ceremony on Tuesday, 26.7.2022 at 9.00 am to acknowledge the achievement of the students in CBSE Board Examinations during session 2021-22.
    Members of the School Management, proud parents, teachers and students were present to witness and encourage the toppers.
    The programme started with Devotions which was followed by a welcome note from the Principal, Mrs Lindsy Dayal Kumar.
    The Managing Committee members gave away the prizes to the winners. They also addressed the gathering and blessed the students.
    The School Choir sang the song ‘Top of the World’ originally sung by Carpenters reflecting the state of mind of the award winners.

    Annual Award Ceremony

    Bishop Scott Girls’ School organised its Annual Award Ceremony for session 2021-22 on Tuesday, 12.4.2022 at 7.30 am in the School Assembly Area.
    The Award Ceremony was organised to acknowledge the achievements of the school’s brilliant students who have made the school and the parents proud.
    School Management members were present to motivate and encourage the students.
    Ms. Lindsy Dayalkumar , Principal along with teachers , parents and students witnessed the ceremony.
    The programme started with the announcements from hosts Aditi Deo Prakash of grade X A and Vaishali Patel of IX C. Anushka Anand of X C led the prayer. This was followed by Welcome Address by the Principal, Mrs Lindsy Dayal Kumar . She also briefed about different category of awards.
    The members of the school Management gave away the prizes to the winners. They also addressed the gathering and blessed the students. The students applauded when the Principal Mrs Lindsy Dayalkumar announced the following Special Awards in addition to General Proficiency, Achiever etc.

    The Best House in Academics was won by Green House. The Best House in Activities and Overall Performance was won by Blue House.
    Divya Patel and Sakshi Kumari gave their winner’s speech. This was followed by Daya Lata of XII A Student of the Year addressing a gathering to express her gratitude.
    Khushi Kumari of XII C, the Deputy Head Girl proposed Vote of Thanks. The programme ended with school song.

    Winners of Behes, Interschool Debate Competition

    Bishop Scott Girls' School participated in Behes, Interschool Debate Competition. Five teams in the category of Cubs and Lions participated. All the teams are qualified for Maha Behes, the Grand Finale. Sakshi Kumari of grade 9C has won the Best Speaker award.

    Reminiscence-Farewell-Grade 12

    Filled with curiosity and zeal, the School Management, teachers and students of grade XI gathered to bid farewell to the students of grade XII, Batch-2022 on Saturday, 26th March 2022. The theme was Reminiscence.
    The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments.
    The programme had two sections – Cultural and Formal.
    The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of grade XI students. The dance, music, skit and games were mesmerizing and filled every heart with varied emotions. The students enjoyed the DJ session and burnt their energy. They relished the sumptuous lunch and hospitality of their juniors.
    The Formal Programmestarted with the mesmerising introduction of the hosts Khushi Kumari ,Suhana Firdaus and Fiza Sulaiman of grade 11.
    Bhavya of grade 11 sought for the Blessings of the Almighty through Devotions.
    This was followed by the performance by grade 11 on ' Carry Your Light'.
    Grade 12 students marched with lit Diyas and placed them on the map of India, depicting the spread the Light of knowledge by the students.
    The School Managing Committee members addressed the gathering and blessed the students.
    Ms. Lindsy Dayalkumar, the school Principal addressed the gathering and spoke on the central theme of being the Light to the world.
    Mr. Ravi Rohatgi, Mr. Santosh Kumar, Mr. Zaid and Dr Moushmi Sanyal, the class teachers of the outgoing batch also addressed the gathering.
    The outgoing Student Council handed over the Baton to the Principal Ms. Lindsy Dayalkumar.
    Mannat Firdaus , Head Girl addressed the gathering & expressed her gratitude towards the school in moulding her personality.
    Everyone in attendance enjoyed the programme.

    Celebrity Interaction with Dr. C. Rangarajan,Fromer Governer,RBI

    Bishop Scott Girls'School organised Celebrity Interaction with Dr. C. Rangarajan,who is an Indian economist, a former Member of Parliament and 19th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.He is the former Chairman of the Prime Ministers Economic Advisory Council.He is the recipient of PadmaVibhushan in 2002. This programme was witnessed by Commerce Students of Grade 11 & 12, Teachers & the Principal, Ms. Lindsy Dayalkumar. The students did a lot of reference work assisted by the parents and teachers. The students raised many useful questions and gained knowledge through the replies given by Dr. C. Rangarajan. He also motivated the students and gave message for them. His message to Bishop Scott Girls’ School students is — Get the best out of the school/college. Read well, study well and perform well. If you do this, you will get the responsible position in society. Contribute to society, not only for yourself. Remember what you owe to the society and community. We need to enjoy and cherish the unity in diversity. It was a memorable experience for the students to interact with Dr. C. Rangarajan and getting inspiration. This was a new learning experience for everyone. Principal Ms Lindsy Dayalkumar said that these kind of interactions create awareness.


    Moon Landing Day Programme

    Bishop Scott Girl's School participated in Moon Landing day Programme held at Shri Krishna Science Centre. It was a very informative and practical session and very excellently delivered. The team was escorted by Ms. Stuti Sinha, where students learnt a lot about the relevant topics concerning space tool and Technology. It was a very good mixture of theory and practical. It involved:

    Celebrity Interaction with Dr M.S. Swaminathan, Father of Indian Green Revolution

    The students from grade I to XII had an opportunity to have video conferencing on 7.7.2017 with the Celebrity, Dr.M.S.Swaminathan, Father of Indian Green Revolution and winner of Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan , Ramon Magsaysay, etc. Students posed questions on various issues for which he gave suitable replies and motivated them. It was a learning experience for the students.

    Meet with Scientist

    Selected students from our school participated in Meet the Scientist programme organised by Sri Krishna Science Centre, Patna on 15th July 2017 between 2.30-4.30 pm and got the opportunity to interact and take guidance from eminent scientist, Prof.(Dr) R.K. Sinha, VC, Nalanda Open University,Patna renowned as "Dolphin Man of India". He shared his experience with the students and shared his experience, work and motivated the students towards building up an attitude for leading a successful life. It was a learning experience for the students.

    Celebrity Interaction with Dr. Mylswamy Annaduri ,Director, ISRO and recipient of Padma Shri

    Bishop Scott Girls' School under the umbrella of Sri Jagannath Sita Education and Social Development Sansthan organised Celebrity Interaction with Dr. Mylswamy Annaduri , Director, ISRO and recipient of Padma Shri. This programme was witnessed by the Managing Committee members Mr Shailesh Prasad Singh, Chairman, Bishop Scott Girls' School, Mr. Abhishek Kumar Singh,Chirman,Bishop Scott Boys' School,Mr. Achyut Singh ; Director,Finance,Bishop Scott Group of Schools,Ms. Nutan Singh, Director ,P.R Admin,Bishop Scott Group of Schools; Ms. Lindsy Dayalkumar , Principal , Teachers & Students. The students did a lot of reference work assisted by the parents and teachers. The students raised many useful questions and gained knowledge through the replies given by Dr. Mylswamy Annaduri . He also motivated the students and gave message for the school and students. He wished the students success in all their endeavours. He advised the students to work hard; always they should be a step ahead of their peers ; their life should be a message to others; always get the blessings of father, mother & teacher; be the follower of Matha, Pitha, Guru and Deiyvam (Mother , Father , Teacher & God ) and preserve whatever they have. It was a memorable experience to see even students from class I talking to Dr. Mylswamy Annaduri and getting inspiration. This was a new learning experience for everyone.

This programme was witnessed by the Managing Committee members Mr. Shailesh Prasad Singh, Chairman ; Mr. Abhishek Kumar Singh; Chairman , Bishop Scott Boys' School , Mr. Achyut Singh ; Director , Finance, Ms. Nutan Singh, Director ,P.R Admin; Ms. Lindsy Dayalkumar , Principal , Teachers & Students. The students did a lot of reference work assisted by the parents and teachers. The students raised many useful questions and gained knowledge through the replies given by Mr Rakesh Sharma . He also motivated the students and gave message for the school and students. His message to Bishop Scott Girls' School students,"Do not forget where you have come from......from Planet Earth.....Mother Earth. We all are same. Try to look for commonalities rather than looking for individuality. Work locally but with global outlook". It was a memorable experience to see even students from class I talking to Mr Rakesh Sharma and getting inspiration. This was a new learning experience for everyone.
